What you’ll do
Use the matchup matrix to see how each archetype in your league performs against every other archetype. The cells are colored by winrate and labeled with the sample size so you can tell a real trend from noise.
Reading the heatmap
- Rows are the “attacker” archetype (the one whose winrate you’re reading).
- Columns are the opponent archetype.
- Each cell shows winrate% (n) — winrate followed by the game count it’s computed from.
- Color goes from cold blue (low winrate) to warm amber (high winrate). Cells with too few games are dimmed.
Sample size matters
A 70% winrate over 3 games is barely a signal. The matrix dims cells under a minimum threshold so your eye doesn’t lock onto noise. Hover any cell to see the exact game count and the raw record.
Filters
- Date range — narrow to the last N weeks if you want to capture a meta shift after a banning or a new set.
- Player — restrict to matches involving a specific person, useful if you’re tuning a list and want to look only at the games you piloted.
Tips
- Self-mirror cells (an archetype against itself) show 50% by definition; they’re greyed out.
- Click a cell to drill into the underlying match list — every game that contributed to that winrate.
